Twilight Q - S01

"A Knot in Time" High schoolers Mayumi and Kiwako are enjoying their summer break at the beach when Mayumi stumbles upon what seems to be a lost camera while scuba diving. Intrigued, she develops the film inside and is stunned to see a photo of herself with a stranger she doesn’t recognize. With the help of Kiwako’s older brother, they uncover something even stranger-the camera’s model hasn’t even been released yet. Determined to solve the mystery, Mayumi becomes fixated on uncovering the truth behind the camera and the eerie photograph. "File 538" Planes are disappearing mid-flight, and rumors suggest the vanished aircraft are transforming into enormous carp. Elsewhere, a freelance detective investigates a dilapidated apartment on the town’s outskirts, where he meets a middle-aged man and a young girl with an unusual fascination for fish. Unable to identify them, the detective enters their room-only to find it completely empty except for a single document. It reads: "This story has been prepared for you, my successor... who should be visiting this room in due time."
