Dr. Souzou Haran was a brilliant scientist working on Mars, where he developed self-aware cyborgs called Meganoids. But the experiment went horribly wrong-the Meganoids turned against him, killing him and nearly his entire family. Only his youngest son, 16-year-old Banjou Haran, survived. Banjou fled Mars aboard a rocket with Daitarn 3, a solar-powered super robot constructed from Martian metals. Now 18 and living in a lavish mansion on Earth, Banjou battles the rogue Meganoids with the help of his loyal butler, Garrison, and his two allies, Reika and Beauty. The Meganoids seek to forcibly convert humanity into cyborgs, believing it will "improve" the human race. Banjou and his team must stop them before it’s too late.
