In the distant future, Japan's cities are walled off and isolated from each other. Travel and migration are tightly controlled-often impossible. Each region is governed by an AI moderator that shapes its domain according to its own vision, refining the population into a single ideal where every citizen plays their part in maintaining the system. But not everyone is content with the rigid confines of their birth city, and some seek clandestine help to escape to a place that better suits them. By day, Equa, Ferres, and Martese appear to be normal high school students-but by night, they work as Extractors, illegally smuggling people across city borders. They guide those willing to leave their old lives behind, risking everything to offer their clients a fresh start. However, the stakes grow higher as the AI moderators begin to notice their activities, seeing them as a threat to their carefully crafted utopias.
