Tracing the Gray Summer
The year is 1976, and 11-year-old Giuliana "Giulia" Bianchi enjoys a simple life in the quiet northern Italian town of Seveso. Everything changes when an accident at a nearby chemical plant covers the town in a mysterious white powder. With the company responsible keeping quiet, Giulia and her friends take matters into their own hands to uncover the truth. As animals start dying and townspeople fall ill with alarming symptoms, the urgency grows. Joining forces with a Japanese journalist named Shirou Andou, the children set out to expose the environmental disaster and make sure the company behind it answers for what they’ve done.
