The Tale of The Princess Kaguya
In a quiet countryside forest, a bamboo cutter named Okina spends his days harvesting hollow bamboo stalks. One day, he finds a tiny baby inside a glowing shoot and brings her home, believing she is a heavenly princess sent as a divine gift. He and his wife, Ouna, raise the girl as their own, naming her Kaguya. She grows up swiftly, full of energy, playing with the village children and embracing the joys of childhood. But everything changes when Okina discovers a vast fortune of gold and treasures in the forest. Convinced this is another heavenly blessing, he uses the wealth to turn Kaguya into a proper princess, moving the family to a grand mansion in the capital. Forced to leave her friends behind and enter a life of nobility she never asked for, Kaguya begins to uncover the truth about her mysterious origins.
