Princess Mononoke

When a violent demon boar attacks an Emishi village, the young prince Ashitaka risks his life to protect his people. As the beast dies, it curses Ashitaka’s arm, giving him unnatural strength while slowly draining his life. The village elders send him west to find a cure, leading him to Tatara, an industrial settlement known as Iron Town. There, he becomes caught in a bitter conflict: Lady Eboshi, who rules Tatara, pushes relentless deforestation, angering Princess San and the forest spirits who fight to protect their home. With tensions escalating between humans and nature, Ashitaka tries to mediate between the two sides, even as he struggles against the curse consuming him. "Princess Mononoke" explores the tension between progress and nature, searching for a balance where both might coexist.
