The Star of Cottonland
When 18-year-old Tokio finds an abandoned two-month-old kitten named Chibi-neko, his mother reluctantly agrees to let him keep her, despite her cat allergy and fear of them. She worries about Tokio growing increasingly withdrawn after failing his university exams. Chibi-neko quickly forms a strong bond with him. In her imagination, Chibi-neko sees herself as a tiny human who speaks like one, though people only hear her meows. She’s convinced that all humans were once kittens like her. One day, a stray cat tells her about a magical place called Cottonland, where dreams can become reality.
