The Piano Forest
"Piano no Mori" follows Shuuhei Amamiya, a new student at Moriwaki Elementary, who boasts about his piano skills only to become the target of a bully named Daigaku Kanehira. When Daigaku challenges Shuuhei to play a supposedly cursed piano hidden in the forest, Shuuhei meets Kai Ichinose, a troublemaker from the rough part of town. Kai insists he owns the piano and is the only one who can play it. Drawn by curiosity, Shuuhei watches as Kai performs a stunning melody on the weathered instrument. Kai's talent catches the attention of Shuuhei and their music teacher, Sousuke Ajino, leading him to begin formal piano lessons-an unexpected turn for a boy who once seemed destined for trouble.
