The Castle of Cagliostro

Arsene Lupin III finds out that the money from his recent casino heist is actually "Gothic Bills"-legendary counterfeit bills so well-made they're almost indistinguishable from real ones. Teaming up with his partner Daisuke Jigen, he travels to the small country of Cagliostro to uncover the source of these fakes. On the way, they rescue a girl fleeing a high-speed pursuit, who turns out to be Clarisse d' Cagliostro, the late Duke's daughter. She’s trying to escape a scheme by Count Cagliostro to seize her family’s treasure by forcing her into marriage. Lupin, never one to leave a woman in trouble, decides to help. Soon, Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Fujiko Mine, and Inspector Zenigata get involved, each with their own reasons. As the group gathers at Cagliostro Castle, Lupin recalls his visit there a decade earlier, and the castle’s hidden secrets begin to surface.
