The Boy Who Saw the Wind

Amon is a young boy with strange, unexplained abilities. His father, the lead scientist for the Empire of the Golden Snake, has spent years developing weapons for the regime. But when he realizes his son’s powers could be exploited for destruction, he destroys his research and flees with his family. During their escape, Amon’s parents are killed, leaving him alone. Pursued by the military, Amon takes refuge on an island where he discovers the history of an ancient people who-like him-could ride the wind and speak to animals. He later finds shelter in a fishing village and befriends a girl named Maria. When the Golden Snake army attacks, the two join a rebel group fighting to stop the empire’s relentless conquest. Their journey is a struggle for survival and resistance. The story is adapted from the novel by C.W. Nicol.
