Samurai 7 - S01

In a distant future, on a planet that may once have been Earth, a long war raged between samurai who had mechanized their bodies. When the fighting finally ended, a fragile peace settled over the land. The villagers of Kanna face starvation and brutal raids by the mechanized bandits known as Nobuseri. With no other options, they decide to hire samurai for protection. Kirara, the village’s water priestess, her younger sister Komachi, and a grieving villager named Rikichi set out to find willing warriors. Their only payment is rice from their dwindling harvests. After perilous encounters and a stroke of luck, they assemble seven samurai-each with unique skills and backgrounds-to defend the village in a desperate battle against the bandits and the shadowy merchants who control them. Loosely inspired by Kurosawa Akira’s classic film "Seven Samurai" ("Shichinin no Samurai"),this story follows their struggle for survival.
