Royal Space Force - The Wings of Honneamise

Shirotsugh "Shiro" Lhadatt is a cadet in the Kingdom of Honneamise's Royal Space Force, though neither he nor anyone else in the RSF has ever been to space. The organization is widely seen as a joke-both by the public and a government more focused on provoking war with a neighboring country than pursuing scientific progress. After attending a fellow cadet's funeral, a disheartened Shiro wanders the city at night and meets Riquinni Nonderaiko, a devout and earnest young woman who believes deeply in the importance of space exploration. Her passion slowly rekindles Shiro's own ambition, leading him to volunteer as the pilot for a proposed rocket mission that could make him Honneamise's first astronaut. He and the RSF are joined by a group of aging but determined scientists and engineers, all working to turn their struggling space program into something meaningful. But their progress draws unwanted scrutiny from the government, which has its own plans for the RSF. Despite the challenges, Shiro and his team refuse to give up, driven by the belief that humanity's hope for redemption may lie beyond the stars.
