At Seishou Music Academy's performing arts division, the students' lives intertwine as they dedicate themselves to perfecting their craft on an ever-changing stage. When the laid-back Karen Aijou resigns herself to a minor role in this year's performance, her childhood friend Hikari Kagura unexpectedly transfers to the school, reigniting Karen's faded passion and shaking up the class dynamics. Soon, Karen stumbles upon a hidden competition beneath the academy-a series of auditions to determine the next "Top Star." Drawn into these mysterious trials, she faces the challenges of striving for greatness. Despite the forces that threaten to separate them, Karen and Hikari hold onto their childhood vow: to shine together as stars.
