Nobunaga the Fool - S01

Driven by visions that show her where to find the King of Salvation, Jeanne Kaguya d'Arc escapes with the brilliant Leonardo da Vinci from the West Star to the East Star. There, she meets Nobunaga Oda-the son of a local warlord who, after a crushing defeat by a rival clan, has vowed to take over the world alongside his friends. Convinced Nobunaga is the true King of Salvation, Jeanne swears loyalty to the Oda clan. Meanwhile, King Arthur, ruler of the West Star, dispatches his merciless general Gaius Julius Caesar and his army of war machines to invade Nobunaga's planet and claim the Holy Grail. While Kaguya believes Arthur is the King of Destruction, Nobunaga's reckless actions-especially his decision to name his combat suit after his own nickname, "The Fool"-make her question whether he can truly lead. With the aid of Himiko, the Queen of Yamato, Nobunaga and his allies must band together, endure hardships and betrayals, and ultimately fight to save the world.
