During the initial test of the groundbreaking battle-suit MADOX-01, ace pilot Elle Kusomoto effortlessly crushes an attacking tank unit and thoroughly embarrasses Lt. Kilgore, Japan’s most arrogant tank commander. Humiliated, Kilgore vows revenge-and his opportunity comes when the MADOX prototype accidentally tumbles off a truck in the heart of Tokyo. Meanwhile, after falling from one truck, off a bridge, and into another, the MADOX lands in the possession of college student Koji Sujimoto. Curious about the suit, Koji makes the critical error of tampering with it without checking the instructions. Before he knows it, he’s trapped inside the MADOX and speeding uncontrollably through Tokyo’s streets.
