Hikaru no Go - S03

While exploring his grandfather’s attic, Hikaru Shindou finds an old go board. The moment he touches it, a strange voice speaks to him, and he passes out. When he wakes up, the voice is still there-it belongs to Fujiwara no Sai, the ghost of a master go player from the Heian period. Sai once taught the game to the Japanese emperor, and his love for go is so strong that even death couldn’t stop him from playing. His dream is to perfect a legendary go technique no one has ever mastered, and now he wants to achieve it by playing through Hikaru. Though Hikaru has no interest in go, he goes along with Sai’s requests, letting the ghost guide his moves. But after meeting Akira Touya, a brilliant young go prodigy, something changes. Akira sparks a fire in Hikaru, turning their rivalry into the start of his own journey into the world of go.
