Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

In 2065, Earth has become a dangerous shadow of its former self. Lethal alien creatures called Phantoms have spread across the planet, killing humans on contact-whether instantly or through a slow, agonizing decline. To protect the remnants of humanity, massive force-field barriers now shield the few remaining cities, keeping the Phantoms at bay. Scientists Aki Ross and her mentor, Dr. Sid, search for a permanent solution to the invasion. Their research suggests that a spiritual force called Gaia energy could cleanse the world of the Phantoms. They aren’t alone in this mission-the human council and the elite military unit "Deep Eyes" offer their support. Yet not everyone believes in their plan. As Aki, Sid, Grey, and their allies push forward, they face threats from both the Phantoms and their own kind. While the aliens are deadly to the touch, the humans who oppose them may prove just as dangerous. To restore peace, they must navigate enemies on all sides.
