Doraemon: Nobita in the Wan-Nyan Spacetime Odyssey

One day, while playing by the river, Nobita spots a stray dog struggling in the water. Feeling pity for the helpless animal, he takes it home, hiding it in a "kennel on the wall." He names the dog Ichi-a play on the word "one," which sounds like "wan," the Japanese onomatopoeia for a dog's bark-and secretly cares for it, even playing with it using his kendama. Later, he rescues another stray, a cat he names Zubu (meaning "wet" in Japanese, since he found it during a rainstorm). Soon, Nobita ends up adopting many more stray cats and dogs. With so many pets to care for, Nobita and his friends decide to send them back in time-300 million years ago-to a world with no other life. They use the Ray of Evolution to help the animals operate a food-making machine, then leave them there, promising to return. But when Nobita and his friends try to visit the animals the next day (from their perspective),a time-space anomaly sends them crashing down 1,000 years earlier than planned. To their shock, the dogs and cats have evolved into a civilized society as advanced as the Future Society. With their time machine broken, they search for help to fix it-only to discover an even greater threat: a cluster of asteroids is on a collision course with Earth. Can Nobita keep his promise and reunite with Ichi? And who is Hachi, the dog that looks so much like Ichi? Their adventure across 300 million years of time and space unfolds.
