Vampire Hunter D
Ten thousand years in the future, the world has changed drastically. Monsters wander freely across the land, and while people possess advanced weapons and cybernetic horses, their way of life remains simple, almost medieval. The story follows a small village constantly threatened by monsters and ruled by the vampire lord Count Magnus Lee, who has held power for millennia. When the Count bites a young girl and selects her as his latest victim, she turns to a mysterious drifter named D for help. Unbeknownst to her, D is one of the most skilled vampire hunters in existence. He takes on the task of confronting Magnus Lee’s countless minions and ending the Count’s reign once and for all.
