Expelled from Paradise
In a future where Earth has been ruined by a catastrophic disaster, most of humanity has left their physical bodies behind and now exists digitally aboard DEVA, a high-tech space station orbiting the damaged planet. Free from the burdens of mortal life-death, hunger, and other struggles-the people of this virtual world live in relative tranquility. But their peace is disrupted when Frontier Setter, a skilled hacker, breaks into the system and begins spreading rebellious messages among the population. Declared a security threat by DEVA's authorities, Frontier Setter becomes the target of Angela Balzac, a determined law enforcer. When the hacker's signal is traced back to Earth, Angela takes on a physical form by transferring her consciousness into a cloned body and descends to the ruined world below to stop him. There, she partners with Dingo, a charming agent, and as she investigates Frontier Setter’s motives, she begins uncovering unsettling truths about the wasteland some still call home-and the so-called paradise above.
