Darker than Black - S02
Hei and Yin are fugitives after turning against the Syndicate in the last season. Fleeing Japan, Hei crosses paths with Suou Pavlichenko, a 13-year-old Eurasian girl who gets caught up in the power struggles between warring factions and Contractors. Back in Tokyo, Hell's Gate still stands after Hei prevented the activation of the Saturn Ring, a weapon designed to erase Contractors. While they're no longer at risk of vanishing, Contractors continue to misuse their abilities. Misaki Kirihara and her Public Security Bureau team face a surge in Contractor-related incidents while also trying to counter the Syndicate's influence, which has infiltrated law enforcement and intelligence agencies globally. The story unfolds across Japan and Russia.
