One night, as meteors light up the sky, Shion Pavlichenko becomes a Contractor. While her brother undergoes this transformation, his twin sister Suou continues with her ordinary life-going to middle school, hanging out with friends, and navigating the awkwardness of adolescence. But when a masked stranger in black breaks into her home, shattering any semblance of normalcy, Suou discovers she has hidden Contractor abilities of her own. Drawn into a dangerous world of spies and mercenaries, she struggles to balance her family, friendships, and her own uncertain path. Elsewhere in Tokyo, investigators probe the sudden collapse of Hell's Gate, and ominous warnings hint at the involvement of a silver-haired doll.
