In a run-down district of Tokyo, crime has spiraled out of control. The story centers on Unit 8 of the 5th Special Public Security Section's 3rd Mobile Assault Division, known as "The Eighth." Equipped with powered armor called "Willwear," they fight back against the growing lawlessness.
