Waza no Tabibito

Humans once discovered a perfect energy source called "Patia," which provided endless food and fuel for everyone. As trade and travel dwindled, civilization's progress ground to a halt. Now, genetically altered plants have overrun most of the earth, making movement difficult for anyone who ventures outside. Cient, the leader of a fortress city, embarks on a journey to recover the lost "Patia" technology, accompanied by his daughter Ruri. When Ruri is separated from her father, she is attacked by an ancient giant humanoid weapon. A wandering fighter named Tekuni, training as a "Wazabito," rescues her just in time.
