Usagi Drop - S01

Daikichi Kawachi is a 30-year-old single man with a steady job but little direction in life. After his grandfather's sudden death, he returns to the family home for the funeral. There, he encounters Rin, a quiet and distant young girl who turns out to be his grandfather’s secret illegitimate daughter. The rest of the family sees Rin as a burden and refuses to care for her after her father’s passing. Disgusted by their indifference, Daikichi steps up and decides to raise her himself-even though he’s a single man with no experience raising a child. "Usagi Drop" follows Daikichi as he navigates the challenges of parenthood with kindness and patience, while also showing how the bond between him and Rin grows into something warm and deeply meaningful. It’s a story about the small, everyday moments that make a family.
