The Garden of Words
On a rainy morning in Tokyo, Takao Akizuki, a student dreaming of becoming a shoemaker, skips school to sketch designs in a quiet garden. There, he encounters Yukari Yukino, a woman as striking as she is enigmatic. When Takao offers to craft a pair of shoes for her, the two begin meeting regularly during the rainy season. Without intending to, their time together eases the burdens each carries in secret. But their problems haven't vanished, and as the rains taper off, their bond will face its greatest challenge.
