Sound! Euphonium - S01

With the ensemble contest over, the Kitauji High School concert band sets its sights on winning gold at nationals. For club president Kumiko Oumae and the other third-years, this is their final shot before graduation. Kumiko feels both excitement and unease, questioning whether she can guide the band to success. Her uncertainty deepens when she meets Mayu Kuroe, a transfer student with a quiet presence and impressive euphonium skills. Mayu previously played in the Seira Girls' School band, a frequent contender at nationals. Though Mayu is warm and approachable, something about her leaves Kumiko unsettled. As new members join and preparations intensify, the band-driven by their relentless pursuit of gold-grapples with the challenges of competing at the national level.
