Sanrio Boys - S01

Kouta Hasegawa is an ordinary high school student who cherishes his Pompompurin stuffed animal-a Sanrio character shaped like a Golden Retriever-a gift from his grandmother. After being teased for liking "girly" Sanrio characters, he grows ashamed of his attachment to the plush. By chance, he meets other students who share his interest: Yuu Mizuno, a flamboyant and popular guy; Shunsuke Yoshino, a soccer player; Ryou Nishimiya, a quiet underclassman who works in the library; and Seiichirou Minamoto, the strict student council president. With their support, Kouta realizes there’s nothing wrong with loving Sanrio characters. Together, they decide to put on a play for the school festival, hoping to turn Kouta’s everyday life into something brighter and more colorful.
