The Central Tanegashima High School Robotics Research Club has spent years working toward a single dream: completing the GunPro1, a fully operational giant robot. Now, club president Akiho Senomiya is determined to make that dream a reality for all the past members. But the project faces major hurdles-funding is scarce, and the club’s only other member, Kaito Yashio, has no interest in helping. Instead, he spends his days glued to his "PokeCom," lost in mecha-fighting games. One day, while Kaito is wasting time as usual, he picks up a strange, garbled message-a voice drowned in static. Tracing the source, he realizes it came from Airi Yukifune, an AI that exists solely in the augmented reality system of the PokeCom. As Kaito digs deeper, he stumbles upon an unsettling report in Airi's database-one that could lead to catastrophe in the near future.
