In 2019, Kaito Yashio and Akiho Senomiya are the only two members of the Robotics Club at Central Tanegashima High School in Kyushu, Japan. Kaito is a relaxed, talented gamer who mostly goes along to help his childhood friend Akiho. She’s a bright, determined girl obsessed with finishing the club’s long-running project: building a working replica of Gunvarrel, the star robot from a once-popular TV show. As they recruit new members and work on assembling the robot, Kaito begins uncovering hidden reports that hint at a far-reaching conspiracy. Without realizing the true scope of what he’s found, he slowly pieces together clues left behind by the enigmatic Ko Kimijima.
