Pupipo! - S01

Himeji Wakaba is a fifth-grade student who can see things others can’t-usually terrifying evil spirits that harm those around her. Because of this, she has no friends and rarely smiles. Sometimes she tries to bring stray animals home, but her parents refuse to let her keep them. Still, they worry about their gloomy, unsettling daughter, so they eventually promise that whatever she brings home next, they’ll allow it to stay. The next thing Wakaba brings home is a pink creature called "Pupipo." True to their word, her parents let her keep it. No one knows exactly what Pupipo is, but it shields Wakaba from the other horrors she sees. It even helps her befriend a transfer student obsessed with the occult and stand up to bullies. With Pupipo by her side, Wakaba’s life finally starts looking brighter.
