Oblivion Battery - S02

Haruka Kiyomine and Kei Kaname were once the most feared pitcher-catcher duo in middle school baseball. Kaname, nicknamed the "General," combined his tactical brilliance with Kiyomine's powerful pitches, shattering the hopes of countless young players dreaming of professional careers. High school freshman Tarou Yamada was one of those players. After quitting baseball, he enrolls at Kotesashi High-an ordinary public school without a team-only to find his former rivals, the legendary pair who ended his dreams, are now his classmates. To his shock, Kaname, once a disciplined leader, has become a loudmouthed joker due to amnesia. With no interest left in baseball, Kaname dragged a reluctant Kiyomine to Kotesashi simply because it was nearby. When Kotesashi starts a new baseball club, Yamada meets other former standouts who also walked away from the game. Though they're hesitant now, Yamada thinks if he can persuade these talented players to return, they might still have a shot at the national championship-if they can tolerate Kaname's endless antics.
