Oblivion Battery - S01

Haruka Kiyomine and Kei Kaname were once the most feared pitcher-catcher duo in middle school baseball. Kaname, nicknamed the "General," combined sharp strategy with Kiyomine's powerful pitching, shattering the hopes of countless young players dreaming of the big leagues. Tarou Yamada, now a high school freshman, was one of those players. After quitting baseball, he enrolls at Kotesashi High-an ordinary public school with no baseball team-only to find his new classmates are the very duo who crushed his dreams. To his surprise, the once-calculating General has become a crude class clown, his personality warped by amnesia. With no interest left in baseball, Kaname dragged a reluctant Kiyomine to Kotesashi simply because it was close to home. When Kotesashi starts a new baseball club, Yamada encounters other former rivals who also gave up the sport. Though they’re hesitant now, he believes that if he can persuade these talented players to return to the game, they might still have a shot at the national championship-if they can tolerate Kaname’s endless antics.
