Natsume's Book of Friends - S04

Takashi Natsume, a shy young man who can see spirits and inherits the mysterious "Book of Friends," continues his journey to understand himself and find acceptance with the help of friends-both human and spirit. When Natsume is suddenly separated from his protector, Nyanko-sensei, a group of eerie, masked monkey-like spirits ambush and kidnap him, taking him deep into their forest as they hunt for the Book of Friends. Nyanko-sensei, furious at losing his charge, rallies Natsume's spirit allies to rescue him. But the forest hides many threats, including the Matoba Clan, Natsume's longtime adversaries. From the Matoba's stronghold to the remnants of Natsume's childhood, this season weaves danger and camaraderie as Natsume faces the lingering shadows of his past.
