Muramasa

A man whose arms can kill others like puppets doesn’t realize he’s already a puppet himself. In this short, hand-drawn silent animation, a wandering samurai discovers this truth the hard way. While traveling, the samurai finds a straw dummy beneath a tree, a sword stuck in its body. When he pulls the blade free, he learns it holds a dangerous, supernatural power. But the sword’s strength comes with a cost-each time he uses it, his mind slips further into madness. Now he faces a choice: keep his sanity or embrace the sword’s power, no matter the consequences.
