Miracle Giants Dome-kun - S01

Ten-year-old Doumu Shinjou is the son of a famed former Yomiuri Giants player who passed away. His father left him with a deep love for baseball and an extraordinary natural talent, though his mother and older sister pressure him to quit the sport. Before his death, his father taught him one final secret move-a magical pitch. When Doumu’s mother gives him his father’s old glove, he uses that pitch during a Giants training session and is quickly signed to the team. With the guidance of the team’s veteran players, the Giants become unstoppable at home-no top batter in Japan’s pro league can hit Doumu’s magic pitch. But their away games are a different story, since Doumu is only allowed to play at the Tokyo Dome, where his father made his name. Along the way, Doumu faces new rivals and makes unexpected friends, like Melody Norman, an American girl who disguises herself as a boy to play in a league that bars women. Just as the Giants seem poised to take the championship, a mysterious challenger appears-Don Carlos, a former Spanish bullfighter now playing for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, who may have a hidden connection to Doumu’s father. Can Doumu lead the Giants to victory and claim the league title?
