Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact! - S01

In the near future, humanity undergoes another energy revolution with the discovery of Photon Power, a limitless energy source extracted from ore beneath Mt. Fuji. Meant to solve global energy crises, this power instead draws the attention of Dr. Hell, a madman bent on world domination. With his followers-Baron Ashura, Count Brocken, and Viscount Pygman-he unleashes an army of mechanical beasts unearthed from ancient Greek ruins to seize control of the Photon Power Lab. Standing against them is Kabuto Kouji, a fiery young pilot who controls the Photon-Powered robot Mazinger Z, created by his grandfather. Yet as the conflict between Dr. Hell and the Kabuto family unfolds, the mysteries of the Mycenaean Civilization, Bardos Island, and Mazinger Z itself remain hidden. This reboot, "Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen," reimagines the classic mecha series with a fresh cast and story, unrelated to the original.
