Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha - S03
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS is the third installment in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series, which itself originated as a spin-off from the Triangle Heart games and OVAs, particularly Triangle Heart 3: Sweet Songs Forever. The season premiered on April 1, 2007, following the "Lyrical Party III" event. Unlike previous entries, the story shifts its focus from personal rivalries and school settings to larger-scale team battles and organizational conflicts, reflecting the evolving character dynamics. The title "StrikerS" alludes to the SS rank awarded to elite mages, similar to how "A's" referenced A-rank mages. A supplementary audio drama, StrikerS Sound Stage X, was released on October 29, 2008. Additionally, a manga adaptation ran in Megami Magazine from November 2006 to February 2008, expanding on side stories not covered in the anime.
