Mad Bull 34 - S01

Daizaburo Edi-Ban, a Japanese-American cop, is assigned to New York City's notorious 34th precinct. On his first day, he's paired with John Estes, a cop known as "Sleepy" to friends and "Mad Bull" to enemies. Mad Bull enforces his own brutal version of justice, never hesitating to shoot petty criminals if they seem even slightly dangerous. He also steals from prostitutes and wrecks property during arrests, landing him in constant trouble with Daizaburo and the precinct. Yet beneath his reckless behavior, there’s always a twisted logic-like using stolen money to fund a clinic for venereal diseases and a shelter for abused women. Later, police lieutenant Perrine Valley joins them to take on harder cases, including mafia operations and drug trafficking. The series draws inspiration from the gritty buddy cop movies of the 70s and 80s.
