Locke the Superman

A quiet, lonely immortal esper known as "Locke the Superman," though he often denies the title. No one knows where or when he was born, and if asked, Locke claims not to remember-which might well be true. When Cornelia Prim once questioned him in "Millennium of the Witch" about which star he came from, he simply answered, "Toa." Throughout galactic history, Locke has appeared at different times, sometimes directly influencing events, other times indirectly, or just observing. His esper abilities let him learn and act far faster than an ordinary human. They also grant him eternal youth, even allowing him to revert to childhood so he can be taken in by caring families. Some suspect he stays young to avoid responsibility-after all, no one expects a child to bear such burdens.
