Legend of the Galactic Heroes - S01
銀河英雄伝説 , LoGH, LotGH, Gin'eiden, GinEiDen, Heldensagen Vom Kosmosinsel
After 150 years of deadlock between the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance, the balance shifts with the rise of two new leaders: Reinhard von Lohengramm, a brilliant and ambitious military strategist, and Yang Wenli, a quiet historian serving the FPA. Reinhard ascends through the Empire's ranks with the help of his loyal friend Siegfried Kircheis, battling not just the enemy alliance but also the fading Goldenbaum Dynasty-all to rescue his sister from the Kaiser and unite humanity under his rule. Meanwhile, Yang, a staunch defender of democracy, faces the crumbling morale of the FPA and strives to prove to his student, Julian Mintz, that authoritarian rule is not the answer. As the war rages on, claiming countless lives, both men confront the deeper question: What are they truly fighting for?
