Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV
The Niflheim Empire and the kingdom of Lucis have been locked in conflict for years. With most of Eos already under its control, Niflheim seeks the last remaining Crystal, guarded within Lucis' capital, Insomnia. To shield his people from the empire's relentless advance, King Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII used the Crystal's power to encase Insomnia in a magical barrier. He also formed an elite military unit, the Kingsglaive, who draw their strength from the king to defend Lucis' borders against imperial forces and other threats. Among the Kingsglaive is Nyx, a warrior known as "The Hero" by his comrades-both for his reckless bravery and his stubborn belief that he can save everyone. His pride leads him to defy orders, costing him his rank and landing him on gate duty. But when rumors spread of Regis negotiating peace with their enemies, Nyx's quiet exile takes an unexpected turn.
