Heart and Yummie
A chance encounter leads a gentle herbivorous dinosaur to take in a lost egg. When it hatches, she discovers the hatchling is a carnivore. Unable to reject him, she names him "Heart" and raises him alongside her own offspring in exile. As Heart grows, he wrestles with his inability to eat the same food as his family. Overwhelmed by shame when he realizes he can’t survive without meat, he runs away. Years pass, and Heart has become a feared hunter. One day, he stumbles upon an abandoned egg-but this time, it belongs to an herbivore. When it hatches, Heart’s first thought is how tasty the newborn looks. Mistaking Heart for his father, the little one cheerfully adopts the word "Umasou" (delicious) as his name. Despite his instincts, Heart can’t bring himself to eat a child who adores him. Reluctantly, he takes Umasou in, just as his own mother once did. Now, as he raises a child he should have devoured, Heart faces the harsh realities of a world divided between predator and prey-and the complicated bonds that defy nature.
