In beach volleyball, success depends on finding that one perfect partner-someone you can truly trust on the sand. Haruka Oozora learns this firsthand after moving to Okinawa to live with her grandmother and her cousin, Kanata Higa. While exploring a nearby beach, Haruka spots a group of girls practicing beach volleyball and is pulled into a casual game. But the mood shifts when Narumi Tooi notices Kanata approaching the court, turning their practice into an impromptu match. Despite their crushing loss, Haruka finally understands why Kanata has been so withdrawn. Kanata and Narumi were once a formidable beach volleyball pair, but Kanata stepped away from the sport, convinced her shorter height held Narumi back. With the Junior Tournament approaching fast, Haruka now faces a challenge of her own: mastering the sport’s competitive side and helping Kanata rediscover her love for the game she left behind.
