Gourmet Girl Graffiti - S01

Ryou Machiko grew up believing that being a skilled cook was the first step to becoming a good wife-or so her late grandmother had taught her. As a middle schooler, Ryou’s cooking is already impressive, but lately, something’s off. Her dishes look and smell wonderful, yet the taste falls flat. Just as she starts resigning herself to a future of living alone, her aunt announces that Kirin Morino-Ryou’s second cousin-will be staying with her on weekends. Kirin has enrolled in a Tokyo cram school with hopes of attending the same school as Ryou. To Ryou’s surprise, her cooking suddenly improves with Kirin around. It turns out her skill wasn’t the problem-it was the lack of someone to share the meals with. The flavors come alive when she cooks for someone close to her.
