Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo

Fourteen years after the Third Impact, Earth lies in ruins, its civilization shattered. The people Shinji Ikari once knew have changed beyond recognition. After being retrieved from space inside Evangelion Unit-01 by Asuka Langley Shikinami and Mari Illustrious Makinami, Shinji is taken prisoner by WILLE, a military group led by his former guardian, Misato Katsuragi. His old allies, now hardened and distrustful, treat him with suspicion, leaving him isolated as he struggles to face the weight of his past choices. Wounded and lost, Shinji is freed from WILLE by Rei Ayanami and brought back to NERV headquarters. There, he encounters Kaworu Nagisa, who treats him with kindness and helps him understand the ongoing conflict between NERV and the Angels. But their brief moment of peace is short-lived-a new battle looms, one where Shinji’s opponents are no longer Angels but former friends. In this brutal clash to decide the fate of the world, Shinji will discover that some wounds from the past can never be healed.
