Dropout Idol Fruit Tart - S01

Ino Sakura has just arrived in Tokyo to join Fruit Tart, a brand-new idol group. Alongside her are three other members-Roko Sekino, a former child actor whose career has stalled; Hayu Nukui, a musician who never found success; and Nina Maehara, an aspiring model still waiting for her big break. They move into their shared dormitory, the Mouse House, but there’s no time to relax. The girls soon discover a harsh truth: Fruit Tart is already one hundred million yen in debt, and the group hasn’t even debuted yet. If they can’t pay back the money, the group will disband and the Mouse House will be demolished. To save their future, the girls must start from the bottom, building their reputation as idols while writing their own songs. Their luck turns when Hemo Midori, a seasoned idol and Sakura’s biggest fan, joins them. Despite the challenges, Sakura and the others face each day with determination, working hard to rise in the idol world while keeping their spirits high and their days full of fun.
