Drifting Home

After his grandfather Yasuji passed away, Kousuke Kumagaya drifted apart from his childhood friend, Natsume Tonai. They had grown up like siblings in the same apartment building, but now they struggle to connect-Natsume clings to the past while Kousuke pulls away. The news that their old complex will be torn down only deepens the rift between them. When Kousuke's friends hear rumors of a ghost haunting the abandoned building, they convince him to explore the demolition site. There, he runs into Natsume, and their tense reunion spirals into an argument over Yasuji's old camera. Natsume snatches it and runs, but as she teeters on the rooftop's edge, a sudden storm floods the area, submerging the building in an endless sea. Now stranded with no way to contact the outside world, Kousuke and Natsume must find a way to work together-or risk losing their only chance to return home.
