Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - S01

In 19th-century Paris, Claude Claudel and his grandfather Oscar operate a small metalworking shop hidden in the Galerie du Roy shopping arcade. When Oscar returns from his travels, he brings with him a young Japanese girl named Yune. Though Claude is reluctant at first, he eventually agrees to Oscar’s decision that Yune will stay and work with them. Claude struggles with Yune’s unfamiliar traditions as he juggles running the shop and caring for her. But as she adjusts to her new life as their live-in maid, Claude gradually begins to take an interest in understanding Yune and the distant culture she represents.
