Buzzer Beater - S02

Hideyoshi is a homeless kid scraping by in near-future New York, making ends meet by hustling other kids in street basketball games. But his life takes a sudden turn when he gets drafted into a professional team-one with an unusual mission. There was a time when humans ruled the basketball courts, but now the game is dominated by stronger, faster alien players, leaving hardly any humans left in the league. Hideyoshi’s team is the first all-human squad to join the Space League, and they’re determined to prove that Earth’s players still have what it takes to win back the championship.
